President
Eric Moleski is the Founder and President of GEN Financial Management, Inc., an independent registered investment advisory firm. For more than 25 years he has helped motivate like-minded families faced with the challenges of wealth by delivering clear, straightforward advice and applying actionable and trustworthy strategies.
Eric is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) practitioner, CKA® designee, and Accredited Investment Fiduciary professional. The Certified Kingdom Advisor (CKA®) is particularly meaningful as it focuses on integrating technical expertise with biblical wisdom and helps us maintain a stewardship mindset regarding money.
He graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Stout, receiving a BS degree in Business Administration, and also earned a diploma in International Business from University College of Wales-Aberystwyth, where he met and married his wife, Hilary.
Eric has been instrumental in improving the lives of children and youth throughout Minnesota by creating GEN Children’s Charity, to plan and host a bienniall golf tournament. All profits from the golf events are donated to various Minnesota faith-based charities benefitting children.
Eric and his wife Hilary enjoy spending time with their grandchildren, Owen & Vivi. When not chasing them around, they enjoy walking their Labradoodle, Rupert. Eric is an avid golfer, and is also passionate about hunting and biking.
Aaron Lindberg, CFA®, CFP®, MBA, CAP®, CKA®
Chief Investment Officer
Aaron Lindberg is one of the Principals of GEN Financial Management. He serves as both our Chief Investment Officer and one of our Financial Advisors. Aaron excels at helping successful families master their finances in this increasingly complex and volatile investment environment.
Aaron’s investment career began in 1996 and has touched many facets of the financial world. For nearly a decade, Aaron published investment research focused on health care companies. He also has provided a variety of consulting services for mergers and acquisitions and start-up businesses. This deep and varied background has been of particular benefit to GEN’s many business-owner clients. In 2002, Aaron began to work with wealth management clients and fell in love with the opportunity to make a positive, long-lasting difference in the lives of clients.
Aaron is a lifelong learner and can regularly be found with a book in his hand. He received his bachelor’s degree in Finance from the Carlson School of Management and finance MBA from the University of St. Thomas. Aaron is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM designee, a Chartered Financial Analyst® charter holder, a Chartered Advisor of Philanthropy and a Certified Kingdom Advisor. The CFA® Charter is the global gold standard for institutional investment management professionals. The advanced analytical skills forged during this program benefit Aaron as he leads the GEN Investment Committee. The CAP® designation is achieved by passing three graduate level courses in philanthropy and enhances our capabilities to guide strategic giving.
Aaron is also very passionate about philanthropy in his personal life. He serves on the board of directors of Safe Care Mission International which provides orphanage and free daycare services in Maneadero, Mexico. He has been involved with other ministry work and missionary opportunities in Mexico for the past 10 years. What started as a one-time family mission trip has evolved into deep roots and life-long relationships in this community.
Aaron resides in Plymouth with Rochelle, his wife of 27 years. They have four adult children with whom they love seeking new adventures. When not in the office, you might find them golfing, SCUBA diving, skydiving, or hiking somewhere off the grid.
Bryan Vancura, CFP®
Financial Advisor
Bryan Vancura is one of the Principals of GEN Financial Management and serves as a Financial Advisor to the firm’s clients. Bryan specializes in helping families facing growing financial responsibilities live life on their terms by converting his technical knowledge into practical, actionable strategies.
He has over a decade of financial services experience and holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation. The CFP® curriculum covers everything from investments to tax, insurance, and estate planning. In addition to his client-facing responsibilities, he also serves on our investment committee and oversees the portfolio management and financial planning processes for GEN.
Bryan lives in Delano with his wife, Haley, and two children. Bryan was born and raised on a farm in southwest Minnesota, where he learned early in life that hard work pays off. With that mentality engrained in him, combined with his college years taking place during the financial crisis of 2008, he was drawn to a career where he could help others attain financial security.
When Bryan is not meeting with clients he enjoys relaxing with family and friends and chauffeuring his children about to their many activities. Golf is a passion (and occasional frustration) of Bryan’s, and he also enjoys hunting, annual ice fishing trips with some close friends, and cheering on the Vikings, Twins, Timberwolves and Gophers.
Josh Moklestad, CFP®, CIMA®
Financial ADVISOR
Josh is one of the Financial Advisors on our team. He loves to help motivated individuals and families overcome complexity to gain control of their finances. He has many years of financial planning experience and holds the CFP® and CIMA® designations. The CIMA® education program was through the Yale School of Management which allowed Josh the opportunity to learn directly from some of the top minds in investment management.
In addition to his client-facing responsibilities, he serves on our Investment Committee, Communications Team, and as our 401(k) specialist. Josh is also an active member of the Financial Planning Association of Minnesota. He is part of the Financial Education committee that organizes opportunities for financial planners to share their knowledge with students and others in the community.
Josh lives in St. Louis Park with his wife, Elizabeth. While born and raised in Iowa, they were drawn north by the vibrancy and serenity of the Twin Cities. Josh and Elizabeth both play music which ended up playing an “instrumental” role as their relationship blossomed while performing at various local open mic nights, weddings, and other events. They are also both big Iowa State University sports fans. Go Cyclones!
When Josh is not meeting with clients, he can be found playing basketball, trying to improve at golf, biking the many trails in the area, reading books – non-fiction only, exploring local restaurants and distilleries, or spending time with friends. These pursuits highlight his natural focus on relationships and passion for continued growth and personal development.
Jill Rausch
Financial Planning Analyst
Jill is one of the Financial Planning Analysts on our team. She has over 15 years of financial services experience and loves working with clients to compile all the details required to prepare accurate financial plans and strategies. She also assists in training our new team members and serves on our Compliance Committee.
Jill has a passion for helping others. She loves supporting our Financial Advisors by digging into the details of the Financial Plan, to show clients what they are capable of accomplishing.
Jill lives in Clearwater with her daughter, Lydia. She grew up in Browerville, MN with a booming population of nearly 800. Jill graduated from St. Cloud State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance.
In her free time, Jill enjoys spending time with family and friends, listening to any type of music, and watching her daughter play softball. Jill’s hobbies include practicing piano – so she can try to teach her daughter how to play, vacation planning and traveling, reading, photography, camping and fishing.
Tracy Westhoff
Client Service Associate
Tracy is a GEN Financial Management Client Service Associate. She works closely with each advisor to ensure client accounts are properly maintained and client requests are handled efficiently. Tracy is responsible for handling a variety of client service issues and requests, meeting preparation and follow up. She takes pride in developing trusting relationships and being a reliable resource for our clients when they call with questions or issues.
Tracy began her career in the investment advisory customer service field in 1987 and has worked closely with advisors helping them maintain a high level of client service, timely follow up, and efficient office administration. Her extensive industry experience allows her to assist in training our new team members and she is a wealth of knowledge and fantastic resource for the wild, “once-in-a-blue-moon” questions.
Tracy serves as a board member of our charitable organization, GEN Children’s Charity and is responsible for the planning, coordination and success of our biennial Golf Open.
Tracy, her husband, Brian, and their Boston Terrier, Hank, live in Shoreview where they raised their two grown children Lauren and Jack. They enjoy spending as much time as possible with their two grandchildren, Freddie and Hattie. Tracy’s hobbies include modern quilting, sewing, and gardening. She is a founding member and a past president of the Minneapolis Modern Quilt Guild.
Noah Semmann
Trader & Financial Planning Analyst
Noah supports the GEN Financial team by handling the trading and rebalancing duties. In this role Noah works directly with the Advisors to ensure that all accounts are invested properly. Noah is also a member of the Investment Committee.
Noah is passionate about numbers and finds reward working in this field as it really matches his strengths. Keeping a strict investment plan is important to him and he takes pride in ensuring client accounts are properly managed and invested. As part of the Investment Committee Noah strives to test everything and always keep a client’s best interest in mind.
Noah grew up just north of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, with his two brothers and parents. After completing high school, he joined the Marine Corps where he served four years and was promoted to Sergeant. During his time in the Marine Corps he developed a passion for personal finance and for helping those in his charge to not only make good short-term decisions, but to build lasting habits to manage their own finances. After his service in the Marines, he attended the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. While going to school, Noah worked at a wealth management office helping with trading and client support.
Noah lives in Richfield with his wife, Hannah. In his free time, he is likely staying active through activities like golf, pickleball, or soccer. If it’s a more relaxed night Noah enjoys going to breweries with his wife and friends and playing board games. Noah also has begun to expand his culinary skills and enjoys making brunch on the weekends as well cooking fun dinners throughout the week.
Lindsey King
CLIENT Concierge
Lindsey is GEN Financial Management’s Client Concierge. She manages our advisor’s calendars and directs incoming client requests to the appropriate team member. She also assists with charitable donations and gift matching, client appreciation events, and many other crucial projects. Lindsey is a part of GEN’s Wellness & Charitable Committee where she encourages our team to prioritize their mental and physical health.
Lindsey grew up in Maple Grove, Minnesota, and continues to reside there with her two cats, Koda and Gizmo. She attended North Hennepin Community College where she received an Associate’s in Arts Degree, and from there attended Hi-Tech Institute where she studied and graduated with an X-Ray Technician Degree.
Lindsey has a passion for animals and loves volunteering at rescues in her free time. She also has an artistic side and enjoys bringing new life to old furniture pieces through restoration. She has compassion for assisting others and strives to go the extra mile. Working at GEN Financial has allowed her to highlight this strength, as well as continue her interest in learning more about financial management.
Serena Grunenwald
Client service associate
Serena is a Client Service Associate at GEN Financial Management. She looks forward to building relationships with clients and offering solutions to account maintenance requests.
Through her time at the University of Minnesota Duluth, while pursuing her degree in education, Serena found her passion for serving others. While her focus has turned from education, this passion continues to drive her within her chosen career field of finance. Serena joined our team at the start of 2024 and is excited to grow with our company.
Serena is on our Communications, Compliance, and Wellness Committees where she is able to bring valuable ideas, and execute new processes and procedures to help maintain a reliable workflow for both our clients and staff. The Wellness Committee focuses on our staff’s team building, health goals, and volunteering opportunities.
When you ask Serena what she has been up to, you will be enlightened with the latest house project that her and her husband have started on their 1930’s bungalow. You might also hear about her daughter Emilia’s latest milestone, or her dog Saylor and his latest antics. In the summer months, you will find her at the Golden Valley farmers market listening to live music, and shopping for fresh produce.
Claire Henry
CLIENT service associate
Claire is one of GEN Financial Management’s Client Service Associates. While working with clients, she handles requests, concerns, and meeting follow up. She is eager to eliminate stress for clients as they navigate the complexities of their finances.
Claire is a part of GEN’s Communication Team where she assists with all client communication including creating our quarterly newsletter, updating our website, statements, and more.
Claire grew up in Edina, Minnesota. She continued her education at Winona State University where she graduated with a degree in Communications and Marketing. Prior to joining the GEN Team, she spent several years serving students and families through Community Education in St. Louis Park.
Claire spends her free time at the park and walking different trails in the area with her coonhound mix, Bogey. She enjoys spending her weekends with her friends and family.
